American Association of Lutheran Churches (AALC)

The American Association of Lutheran Churches was formed in 1987 and has 50+ congregations and 16,000+ members across the United States, mainly in the Upper Midwest. Many AALC pastors and laypeople have made significant contributions to the confessional Lutheran tradition. The AALC is in full “altar and pulpit” fellowship with the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod.
