Frequently Asked Questions:

What should I wear? + -

Come as you are! You’ll find that most people dress up a little (“business casual”) but others wear everyday clothes.

Can I bring my kids? + -

Absolutely. The pastor loves to hear children in the sanctuary. Matthew 19:14 commands us to help children receive the gospel message in church. For young children we provide a "busy bag" of activities they can do if they get antsy during the service. Children come forward for a children’s message during the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month.

Can I take Holy Communion? + -

All baptized and confirmed members of the LCMS are welcome to the Lord's Table. See the communion statement on the back of the weekly bulletin. If you’re visiting, talk to an usher or the pastor before the service.

I've got questions. Who should I ask? + -

The best place to start is with the pastor. He will gladly answer any questions you have about the congregation and Lutheran teachings. Pastor is responsive to emails and texts also.

Do I have to bring a Bible? + -

We have several Bible study classes to choose from on Sundays. We also provide Bibles in the pews for your use. The Bible readings for the church service are also printed in the weekly bulletin.

How do I join a Lutheran church? + -

First, come and worship God with us! Then, when you’re ready, talk to the pastor about becoming a member. Unless you’re transferring from another LCMS church, you’ll have to take some classes to learn more about Lutheran, biblical beliefs. When you accept those teachings as your own confession of faith, then you’ll be received into the church formally as a member.
